Capital FM's Laura Walubengo Quits

Popular media personality and radio host has called it quits from Chris Kirubi’s Capital FM on her birthday.

Laura Walubengo has left station barely six months after she rejoined from South African firm Multichoice.

She acted as the head of Capital Media Team before her exit.

She managed one of the newest portals on Capital Digital Media.

On Capital Lifestyle, she wrote multiple articles on entertainment, music, movies, relationships, technology, arts, cars, food, travel, fashion and events.

The presenter hosted morning news #Laurabrief alongside media sensation and actor Maqbul Mohammed.

In a social media post seen by Kenyans.co.ke, her co-hosts Amina Abdi and Maqbul wished her well in her endeavors.

She indicated that she will give full details of her next project in due time.

“Although I have left the station it has been more than a home to me. I will give you the full details of my next move in a week’s time,” she told Kenyans.co.ke journalist.

Walubengo joined the firm where she worked as Lead Digital Communications Specialist East Africa for DStv Kenya since 2014.

She started her career at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) as a sports presenter and the Senior Lifestyle Editor.
