Boni Khalwale, Edwin Sifuna in Hilarious Twitter Exchange

Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale and ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna on Thursday engaged in a hilarious exchange of words on Twitter.

Khalwale had taken to his social media supporting Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula over the alleged collapse of the National Super Alliance (NASA).

"Wetangula said that NASA is moribund. Meaning that it is in a dying state, near death. I agree fully with him," Khalwale expressed.

"It (NASA) is in ICU, on a life-saving machine, which should immediately be switched off to let the thing to be buried," he wittily stated.

Perhaps acknowledging that one good turn deserves another, Sifuna came hitting back at Khalwale in an equally hilarious statement.

"Unasema wewe bullfighter mzima umeshindwa kuzima switch? Zima omwami... ni wewe tumengoja (Are you alleging that an accomplished bullfighting competition organizer like you cannot hit that switch off? Switch [NASA life support machine] it off Sir. We are looking up to you)," the ODM Secretary General dared Khalwale.

But Khalwale could not let Sifuna get away with it retorting: "Switch huzimwa na mzazi wa yule ambaye ako kwa life-saving machine. Am neither father nor mother of NASA (The parent of the patient under life support is the only one who has authority to switch off the machine. Am neither father nor mother of NASA)."

Other netizens equally weighed in on the heated debate on the future of NASA and the rumoured fallout following Wetangula's declaration of a "divorce".

I know you will never forgive Raila for aborting your mission to join jubilee with just a handshake. It real feels bad but try and get something to keep you busy instead of trolling Nasa and Raila.
