At a time sections of Jubilee party are pointing fingers at the ODM party leader over splits in government, it has emerged President Uhuru Kenyatta yet again met Raila Odinga secretly at night.
This is the second time that the two are having a closed-door meeting after they struck a unity deal in the popular handshake that shook the country's political landscape.
Local dailies have revealed that President Uhuru had taken leave from State House for a break at the Coast where sources say he held four-hour long talks with Mr Odinga.
According to The Standard newspaper, President Uhuru and Raila met in Kilifi on Thursday.

The two leaders reportedly held talks at a restaurant within Vipingo Ridge in Kilifi County and had left just a handful of their aids in the know.
According to State House insiders, the President had earlier in the week said he would be on a sabbatical away in Mombasa or Zanzibar but did not fully disclose details of his destination.
On Monday, the Head of State flew to Vipingo Ridge and played golf on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Nyali Golf and Country Club.
When Nyali Club management shared photos of the president playing Gold on Thursday morning, they were reportedly approached and required to pull down the posts.
The paper reveals that ODM leader flew to Mombasa on Thursday afternoon and was received by Governor Hassan Joho, who also accompanied him to the meeting with President Kenyatta.
Governor Joho spent a short while with the national leaders before excusing himself to pave the way for their secret talks.
The talks started at around 8 PM and spanned through into late in the night and are said t have ended past 11 PM.
Staff at State House in Mombasa also intimated that President Uhuru unusually skipped the place, and had scaled down his security detail during the days off.
