Kakamega First Lady Priscilla Oparanya showcased her catwalk skills on Tuesday, earning her a blue sash and tiara usually reserved for paegant winners.
Attending an event to promote the upcoming search for the next Miss Tourism which begins on August 13th, Oparanya strutted her stuff as high-ranking officials watched excitedly.
The Tourism Planning Committee further handed the First Lady a certificate following the stunning display.
Miss Tourism Kenya County Event Coordinator Peter Karanja confirmed that the tiara and sash would be used to crown the next Miss Tourism Kakamega.
A former holder of the crown, Tinnah Faith, was on hand to present Oparanya with her awards.

The Miss Tourism Kenya paegant returns following a hiatus in 2017.
The hiatus was occasioned by the protracted electioneering period that complicated matters of logistics and funding.
The paegant's National Executive Director Alice Kamunge had promised that the upcoming edition would be the most gripping yet.
“We had a break for 2017 due to the elections but we are about to start season two for 2018-2021,” she stated.
The reigning Miss Tourism is Wendy Omolo from Homa Bay County who took the crown in 2016.
The pageant which was conceptualized by Vera Beauty & Fashion College under the stewardship of Ms Kamunge also offers counties a chance to market themselves to a national audience.
