Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi may be the latest beneficiaries of the March 9th handshake after it emerged that there is a scheme to have them included in the cabinet.
Sources close to Raila Odinga disclosed he is keen to forward the NASA co-principals for consideration for Cabinet appointments.
According to the Standard, it is possible for the two to be included in the cabinet in the spirit of ‘building bridges initiatives.’

It is alleged that President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila held secret night talks last week, and they could have agreed on the list and names being vetted privately.
It is reported that the reshuffle will see Raila get 4 cabinet slots while Jubilee will enjoy the remaining 17 positions.
“There are some negotiations going on. There is something in the offing for Kalonzo, that I can assure you,” a Wiper Senator told the Standard.
The publication also reported that Uhuru and Raila would visit Nyanza after the reshuffle.
Targeted for removal are Cabinet Secretaries whose ministries have been adversely mentioned in corruption scandals and individuals whose replacement will not be a huge blow to the Jubilee government.
“More surprises await us in coming days. The President is planning a major re-organisation that will not spare his office,” intimated a Jubilee insider.
He remarked that Uhuru is committed to deliver to Kenyans, a move that includes shaking off his close allies that don’t deliver as expected.
