The plans for the burial of Mama Mary Auma, the mother of former Harambee Stars captain Dennis Oliech, have divided the family.
According to two obituaries placed in the Daily Nation on Tuesday, the families are in the middle of controversies surrounding the date and burial site for Mama Oliech who succumbed to cancer last month.
One of her daughters and sons told Daily Nation to proceed to publish the confusing details of their mother's burial on Pages 45 and 46 of the national newspaper.

In the first announcement placed on page 45, the kins state that Mama Oliech’s burial will be held on August 18, 2018. The obituary identifies the family home in Ratta-Seme, Kisumu county as the burial site.
On the next page of the paper, another obituary indicates that Mama Oliech's cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on August 9, 2018, for a requiem mass at Uhuru Church.
They would later on that evening leave to the family home ahead of the burial on Friday, August 10, 2018.
One of Mama Oliech's daughters and her son are said to have placed the two funeral announcements and had visited the advertiser's offices insisting that they are all published as submitted.
Close family relatives have intimated to local dailies that the actual burial date will be on 18, August 2018 noting that funeral arrangements remain uninterrupted.
One of her daughters who was on Tuesday reached by the media to comment on the matter declined to shed light on the controversy stating she could not handle the matter at the time.
