Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi on Sunday made a passionate appeal to President Uhuru Kenyatta regarding the ongoing demolitions.
Through his tweeter handle, the lawyer asked Uhuru to take the war just one step further and reclaim all public utilities.
"Just imagine how history will glowingly and radiantly record his place in history if Uhuru goes one step further in the on-going demolition of illegal structures," Ahmednasir stated.

"Just one step and orders that all illegally acquired public utility land be recovered... just imagine!", the lawyer quipped.
On his part, renown scholar Professor Makau Mutua expressed his admiration and support for the spirited war against corruption and the demolition of buildings sitting on riparian land.
"I salute Governor Sonko for boldly joining the fight to demolish and/or repossess structures on grabbed public land.
"Let no illegal structure be spared - no matter the owner," Professor Makau opined.
The sentiments by the two renowned personalities add to the growing list of support and assurance both from Kenyans and other development partners.
US Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec expressed his support for the resolve demonstrated by different independent institutions including the Presidency, Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to root corruption.

"Kenya needs a national movement and sustained war on corruption. Corruption is a cancer that is killing Kenya and it must end.
"The National Multi-Sectoral Forum’s Anti-Corruption Initiative is a bold response. Hongera! (Congratulations)," Godec exclaimed.
