Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has revealed the message President Uhuru Kenyatta should deliver to President Donald Trump during his official visit to the US.
Alluding to a Biblical story, Mutahi opined that Uhuru should tell Trump that a black man holds the map to the Canaan.
"Uhuru should remind Trump of this biblical fact when they meet. He should tell him that the future is black," Mutahi indicates.
"A black man is the only one with the 40-day route map to Canaan. Everyone else will take 40 years. This is in the bible," the political analyst quips.
Making reference to a biblical account where Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, denied him a road-map that would see the Israelites reach Canaan, the promised land, in 40 days, Mutahi expressed the opinion that Africans have the capacity to transform the world for better.
According to Mutahi, Uhuru's upbeat approach in the fight against corruption is one indicator that it is possible to transform the country in forty days rather than forty years.
Through the 5th Estate talk show, Mutahi adds that just like Jethro, a priest in the land of Midian and a nomad, knew the shortcut to Canaan, Uhuru may have the insight on what the country really needs to transform.
"If the war on corruption will be won by first winning the battle for the mind, maybe Uhuru is reconditioning our minds.
"If Raila has seen this point, William Ruto has refused to see this fact. He is using old maps to go to new lands. This old map will see him locked out in the wilderness for 40 years," he adds.
Mutahi concludes that the only other reason why the Israelites wandered for 40 years before getting to Canaan is probably that God wanted to reset their mindset in order to have them begin a new life devoid of slavery mentality.
