KTN Journalists Nicholas Wambua, Philip Keitany and K24's Job Mwaura, Nancy Onyancha Tie the Knot

The just-concluded weekend saw a total of four journalists tie the knot in colourful ceremonies that were held in various parts of the country.

KTN Swahili anchor Nicholas Wambua married his bride Irene Mueni in a ceremony held in Machakos County.

His colleague from the business news desk Philip Keitanny tied the knot with his significant other at the Kabarak University Grounds in Nakuru County.

A long-awaited wedding between K24 Swahili anchor Nancy Onyancha and her colleague and mate Job Mwaura also took place in Nairobi County.

The two become Kenya's second celebrity couple to be working in the same media house after Citizen Tv's Rashid Abdalla and Lulu Hassan.

The K24 presenters announced their engagement in March 2017 and the news was soon followed by the traditional wedding ceremony.

Nancy would reveal inner details of their love story in a post on her Instagram account soon after the traditional ceremony.

"Eight years of Friendship..and within the eight years there are three years of tea and laughter..moments of blood, sweat and tears," she captioned the photo posted on the social media platform.

The white wedding ceremony featured their colleague Zawadi Mudibo as a groomsman.

Mudibo also featured prominently during Keitany's wedding in Nakuru.
