A number of top European clubs are expected to have scouts watching Gor Mahia players during their anticipated clash with Everton at Goodison Park on November 6th.
Leeds United, Birmingham City and Glasgow Rangers are among the clubs expected to have scouts in attendance at the match.
Coach Dylan Kerr urged his players to take the chance to impress various teams and play at the highest level.
"Birmingham and Leeds have confirmed that they will attend our match against Everton and this is a great chance for my players to market themselves.
"A chance for them to change their lives for good if they shine. You never get such opportunities because they are very rare and my boys are aware of the same.
"They must play to impress and they must also show that they are the Kenyan champions. It will be a good chance for them to shine away from home," he told Goal.com
Captain Harun Shakava acknowledged the opportunity but noted that their focus would be on getting a result against Everton.
"For sure, it’s a good opportunity for us players to show our capabilities and talent during the match and who knows, one or two players may catch the eyes of scouts.
“At the same time, we don’t want the pressure of impressing scouts out there to weigh us down and lose our style of play. We want to carry our good form to Everton and see what happens from there,” he stated.
Gor Mahia players left for England on Friday morning.
