Duncan Otieno Set For Champions League Debut With Zambian Side

Former AFC leopards skipper Duncan Otieno is set to make his CAF Champions league debut following a transfer last month.

The midfielder was named in Zambian side Nkana's 25-man squad for the 2018/19 2018/19 Caf Champions League.

He signed a two-year deal with the club after successful trials.

Kenya will be represented in the CL by reigning champions Gor Mahia.

Other than Nkana, Zambia will have bitter rivals Zesco taking part.

Zesco is home to three Harambee Stars players; David “Calabar” Owino, Anthony Akumu and Jesse Were.

Otieno will find Harambee Stars Vice-captain Musa Mohammed at Nkana with the fullback having proved to be a dependable player since his transfer.

Mohammed joined the club in June from Albanian club FK Tirana.

Nkana registered the players before the Thursday deadline with the preliminary round draw to be held in Rabat, Morocco on Saturday.

All the clubs will, however, have another chance to register more players in January 2019 if they get past the group stage.
