American Artiste Donnie McClurkin in Grisly Accident Days Before Kenyan Concert

Renowned international gospel artist Donny McClurkin was involved in an accident days before he was scheduled to perform in Kenya.

The artist took to Facebook to recount the incident to his fans.

According to him, he passed out while driving along a highway and the only thing he could remember was wellwishers pulling him out of the mangled wreck that was left of his car.

“Was in a serious accident at 12:50 AM this morning...passed out while driving on the highway. Totalled the car...hospitalized, going through a myriad of tests,” McClurkin narrated.

“Lost consciousness driving but two human angels followed my swerving car with their emergency blinkers on to stop traffic ....drove behind me until my car crashed into the middle concrete island,” he continued in his post.

He was thankful for still being alive and confirmed that he was okay, save for some bruises that were being taken care of.

"Somewhat mangled, stitches on left thumb, sprained wrist, hurt knee, but I’m still here! God and two angels saved my life! I owe them," McClurkin concluded.

The artiste, however, confirmed that he would still fly into the country for a concert scheduled for December 15, 2018.

The concert will be held at the Two Rivers Mall.

This is not the first time that McClurkin will be in the country. He has been a frequent visitor in Bishop Allan Kiuna’s Church.
