President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday, attended Deputy President William Ruto's graduation at the University of Nairobi.
As Ruto was conferred with a Doctorate degree in Plant Ecology by the University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vijoo Rattansi.
The Head of State who was seated at the podium looked visible excited for his second in command.

After receiving his degree, DP Ruto walked to greet Uhuru who stood and engaged in a hearty embrace.
Rachel Ruto was also present at the occasion and the DP also hugged her as he headed for his seat with the other graduates.
President Uhuru gave a word of encouragement to all the graduates urging them to integrate their plans with the country's development agenda.
"We hope the university will produce academicians who impart knowledge with the hope of creating cohesiveness amongst the people.
"You should rise above and be the cream that the country needs to be a united and prosperous nation. We pray that you will be able to contribute to the development of the country," he stated.
