Citizen TV journalist, Waihiga Mwaura, surprised his wife Joyce Omondi with a bouquet of flowers and fruits during an ongoing show on Switch TV.
The musician had already signed out and thanked her audience for watching when Waihiga approached her with the bouquet of flowers.
“Oh my goodness!” she expressed.
Ms Waihiga was so surprised when she saw her husband with the gifts wondering why he wasn't working at Citizen TV.
She didn't realize she was still on air until her director brought it to her attention.
“Everyone kept telling me to wrap up the show so I thought we were off,” she stated.
Joyce Omondi is a musician and a presenter on Switch TV, a show called ‘Full circle with Joyce”
The show is a lifestyle and talk show that runs from 8am to 9am from Monday to Friday.
Waihiga is a Citizen TV news anchor who is set to be part of the Daybreak morning show with Willis Raburu, Sam Gituku, Trevor Ombija, Zindzi Kibiku and Kimani Mbugua.
