Radio Queen Escapes Death After Matatu Rams Into Her Car

Celebrated Radio Jambo presenter Massawe Japanni was on Wednesday involved in a road accident after a matatu rammed into her car, a Nissan X-trail.

According to a report by Radio Jambo where she works, the accident occurred at Nyayo area in Nairobi.

The presenter was, however, not injured in the incident although her rear windscreen was badly damaged.

Niko salama lakini bado nimeshtuka. (I am okay but still shocked)” she stated.

The rear lights of the back left of her car were also damaged when the matatu from Orokise Sacco hit her vehicle from behind.

The presenter was reportedly headed to work when the accident happened forcing Radio Jambo to apologise to the fans of Bustani la Massawe, her show at the station, that she would not make it.

Japanni immediately reported the matter at Industrial Area Police Station.

She is a mother of three.

This comes roughly a month after the ever-bubbly media personality lost her sister.

Taking to social media at the time, Japanni inform her fans about the untimely passing of her sister Mgeni Musa.
