Veteran journalist Geita Mwangi, perished after his vehicle rammed into a stationary lorry along Thika Road, Nairobi, on Thursday evening.
Mr Mwangi who was previously a Media Consultant for the Ministry of Agriculture, worked for Nation Newspaper, Radio Citizen and Voice of America (VOA) among other media outlets.
News of the journalist's death, who also lost his mother in March, shocked Kenyans on social media platforms.
