Booing Clip That Has Moses Kuria & Boni Khalwale Clashing

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale, on Tuesday morning, attacked each other over a clip of the former during a rally at Ruiru Stadium in Kiambu county.

Taking to Twitter, Khalwale commented a clip of Moses Kuria where he was addressing the rally and the people in the crowd appeared to be booing the MP.

In his tweet, the former Senator implied that Kuria had been rejected by the people following a slight uproar from the residents after making some remarks,

"Pole Moses Kuria, a translation has just been done for me. Stop crying like Sabina Chege. The people have spoken,"  he stated referring to a rally where Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege was filmed crying in her backyard a week prior.

In a quick rejoinder, Moses Kuria faulted Khalwale over his translation of the clip. "You got your translation wrong. Change your Koinange Street girlfriends," he chided.

In the clip, which is the source of contention, Moses Kuria can be heard addressing the residents, where he states something that irks the residents.

The Gatundu South MP sends greetings from various leaders including Kiambu senator Kimani Wamatangi whom the crowd accepts.

When he goes to pass on Kiambu woman representative Gathoni Wamuchomba's regards, the crowd rejects.

The scene is replicated when he crowd is similarly apprehensive towards greetings from ODM leader Raila Odinga.

After the rally, Moses Kuria took note of the people's reaction where he stated that there was a need to convince the people that the handshake was good for them.

"So Sunday was sad for me at the Ruiru Stadium concert. The people of my region sent me with a clear message. They do not want anything to do with the handshake.

"They fervently oppose it and are vehemently fighting it. We can not give up just yet. We have to work harder to convince them that the handshake is a good thing for our future," he posted on Monday.
