Amount of Money Harambee Stars Players Pocketed After Beating Tanzania

Harambee Stars players pocketed bonuses worth Ksh 250,000 per player after their stunning 3-2 comeback win against Tanzania’s Taifa Stars in their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) derby in Cairo, Egypt.

Further details as per Football Kenya Federation reveal that the players reap heavy in other bonuses stipulated to give the boys morale and motivation as they look set to upset the odds and earn a round of 16 berth in the continental showpiece.

Each player will be awarded Ksh 500,000 for participating in the AFCON tourney.

For every win in Cairo, Egypt, every player pockets Ksh 250,000.

They are also to earn Ksh 250,000 for any draw that allows them to progress to the next round.

For instance, a draw against Senegal (our next game), which will allow Kenya to move into the knockout phase will be counted as a win.

The players already pocketed Ksh 250,000 each for participating in their pre-tournament training in Paris, France.
