In her lifestyle show, Living with Ess, NTV Presenter Sharon Mundia for the first time went to a gun range and impressed when she hit her target not once but seven times.
The TV host was at the National Gun Owners Association of Kenya range at Kirigiti in Kiambu where she fired her first ever shot.
The challenge was part of her show where she explores out of the ordinary experiences in a bid to get out of her comfort zone.
Admitting that she had never held a gun, Mundia was excited to learn the basics of shooting a gun.
Guided by NGOA chairman Anthony Wahome, Mundia nervously stepped to the ground and held the gun careful not to misfire.
Taking her time to focus on the target and following the steps to firing a gun, the presenter carefully pulled on the trigger and as soon as the bullet left the gun, she shrieked as the jerk reaction caught her by surprise.
Impressively, her first shot hit the neck of the target. She was much more relaxed for the shots thereafter as her second shot was perfect going right in the middle of the dummy head.
As she was preparing to take another shot, the gun jammed and her instructor stepped in to cork it.
Before proceeding with the other rounds, she exclaimed, "It has so much power."
Mundia bravely took the gun and fired the remaining rounds, each hitting the target.
After the final shot, she took some time to catch her breathe, "This is not easy, and it's a workout. I'm sweating."
Out of the seven rounds, three hit the stomach and the chest each with one hitting the head.
