Trader Stuns Workmates by Flying Chopper to Work [VIDEO]

Workers at an abattoir in Dagoretti South Constituency were left in awe, on Monday, after one of their former colleagues joined them for a meeting using a chopper.

The 26-year-old pilot/trader, identified as Joshua Mwangi Gathumbi, brought all activities at the busy market to a standstill, as landed in style for a traders' meeting.

Hundreds of traders flooded into the area to catch a glimpse of the helicopter as well as their fellow trader, who was now flying high.

Equipped with smartphones, the locals took countless selfies next to the chopper, once its engines were shut down.

He went on to narrate how he had an epiphany during a trip to China, where he found tonnes of hides been manned by armed guards.

It was then, that his interest in the trade peaked, after realizing just how valuable the commodity was in the world market.

Mwangi, who was born and raised in the area, disclosed that he was deeply concerned by the way farmers and traders were being oppressed by new taxes, leaving them languishing in poverty.

“The slaughterhouses we have here are benefitting more than 1,000 people indirectly and directly through employment,” he remarked.

While addressing KTN News, Mwangi disclosed that he had convened the meeting to address the various issued affecting his fellow traders.
