Joho's Hairstyle That Has Kenyans Talking

Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan Joho, has for a while been known as the coolest governor as a result of his sleek sense of fashion, clean-cut hairstyle and beard.

However, on Tuesday things took a dramatic turn after a picture of his hairstyle was posted on social media.

The picture showed a rear view of the governors head with part of his hair falling off.

One particular social media user captioned the photo inquiring whether Mombasa barbers had gone on a strike.

Other netizens quickly keyed in various comments roasting the governor's hairstyle in the process.

"Oyaaa. Mombasa has many ladies, the Sultan forgot his hair at the beach he has no time to remember," quoted another netizen.

Florswagle referred to the governor's loss of hair as backside baldness.

Jefferson Finis Davis, another user, also chipped in, "He had a hair transplant. If a barber dares shave transplant hair the hairs never grow back."

Previously, Joho's barber, George Dufanda, who is a Congolese national, disclosed how the governor usually pays him well, noting that the highest he has ever received from was Ksh 10,000 which he got paid in US dollars.

Dufanda disclosed that whenever Joho requires a shave, his assistants usually contact him and he goes to his Nairobi house where he does his ‘magic’.

Many who knew the governor for his stylish hair and a trademark beard, that hardly went unnoticed, are now questioning the barber's work.
