KDF Boss Fulfills 3-Year-Old's Dream With Rare Chopper Ride [PHOTOS]

A 3-year-old child specially talented in military matters had a lot to smile about after KDF boss fulfilled his dream of interacting with the equipment.

Kenya Air Force Commander Major General Francis Ogolla took his time on July 10 to help nurture Elias Muthomi‘s dream in the aircraft industry at Moi Air Base (MAB).

The climax of the visit was when Elias had a flight experience; he was taken for a 15-minute flight aboard a Huey helicopter.

He was delighted and his parents expressed their gratitude to the Commander KAF for offering Elias an opportunity of his lifetime.

Muthomi is a gifted boy who has displayed unusual reading abilities despite the fact that he has not set foot in a formal classroom.

At his age, he has a high memory of Military machinery especially helicopters and jet fighters. His story has been featured by several media such as the Daily Nation, Kameme TV and KBC.

In the photos, the boy is seen interacting with the boss before proceeding to the helicopter's cockpit.

Elias was accompanied by his parents, Moses Githonga and Monica Wambui, who paid a courtesy call to the Commander KAF’s Office where the Ogolla interacted with him and motivated his parents to maintain his focus in Aviation.

Muthomi's parents, in the past, grappled with how to school him considering that his IQ was higher than that of an average child.

“People have advised me to take him to an international school where his potential can be exploited better but I do not have the money,” he posted at the time.
