Comedian Eric Omondi on Saturday evening, surprised his former boss, Churchill Ndambuki also known as Mwalimu King'angi in a live show in Buffalo mall, Naivasha county.
"So yesterday I Surprised my Dad, Mentor and Teacher in Comedy Mwalimu Churchill it's been almost seven years since I was last here it was both emotional and happy," stated Eric in his post.
In the video that was seen by Kenyans.co.ke, the funny bone, Eric, was dressed in a black buibui matching hijab, took to his feet and asked to dance.
The taken aback Churchill asked the 'lady', who was already making her way to the stage, what she wanted to dance to.
Omondi hilariously imitated a woman's voice and spoke in a shrill soprano that he wanted to dance to any song.
At that moment, the DJ played a Lingala song that was famously used by the comedian as his entrance song during his hay days at Churchill live.
Omondi, then dramatically stripped his buibui and hijab and turned to face the flabbergasted Churchill.
Both Churchill and the crowd went wild with applause as the two joyfully embraced.
Eric left Churchilll show in 2014 to launch his new stand-up comedy show Eric Omondi Untamed.
He left for the US on March 23 of the same year for a series of shows in different states.
Later on in 2017, while on Citizen Tv's 10 over 10 with Willis Raburu, Eric disclosed that his reason for leaving Churchill live show was to let budding comedians grow.
"Right now I'm not on TV, I left my dad, Churchill is my dad, because it reached a point i realised i was Churchill live's firstborn and my brother Fred Omondi, Chipukeezy, Teacher Wanjiku, Mammitto, Hamo joined, i realised i had to leave and build my own house, which is what I'm doing at the moment," ascertained Omondi.
