Moses Kuria Fires Back at DP Ruto Over Tuju Remark

Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, has called out Deputy President, William Ruto, over his tweet about Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju.

DP Ruto had sarcastically commented on the issue where Tuju is said to have become one of ODM leader Raila Odinga’s advisory.

Kuria reminded the second in command about the handshake of March 9, 2018, between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga, stating that that was the beginning of the end.

My dear good friend Deputy President William Ruto. Jubilee went into political bankruptcy on the 9th of March 2018. The nature and configuration of Kenya's politics forced us into Article 11 Bankruptcy,” Kuria wrote on facebook.

The DP on his tweet had wondered how the Secretary-General of the ruling party would also be a chief strategist for the opposition.

So our democracy is so liberal that the SG of the ruling party has become the chief strategist of the opposition!! Maajabu(surprising),” the DP tweeted.

The Gatundu legislator also advised the second in command to start seeking alternative vehicle to use during the next election as Jubilee was under receivership.

Raphael Tuju is only a Receiver-Manager. Don't attack the messenger please,” Kuria added.

The CS without a portfolio is now said to be the key advisor to Odinga on matters development in the Nyanza region.

The comment by the DP comes barely two weeks after some of his allies demanded that the Jubilee Secretary-General resigned over what they termed as undermining DP Ruto.
