Mukhisa Kituyi's Son Graduates in UK [PHOTOS]

Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, UNCTAD, Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi celebrated his son's graduation on Monday.

Masalule Kituyi, Mukhisa's last born son, was graduating from the University of Portsmouth with honours in Mechanical Engineering. 

"It is felicitations all around as our last born Masalule aka Masa, graduates with honours in Mechanical Engineering," the former Trade Minister wrote in delight.

Also present was the UN senior official's wife, Ling Kituyi and daughter Laila Kituyi.

Kenyan online took to congratulate the graduate with notable figures also sending their warm wishes. 

Businesswoman, Gina Din stated, "Congratulations to all of you. Such joy for the parents."

KRA Commissioner, Dr. Fred Mugambi Mwirigi conveyed, "Very happy for you and your family SG and hearty congratulations to your son."

A user by the name Ng'ang'a wa Ng'ang'a added, "Great family daktari. I hope you know we have great expectations for you as a country."

The graduations for the University of Portsmouth were separated according to the different schools with the ceremonies for undergraduates and postgraduates in the School of Mechanical and Design Engineering being held at 4 p.m together with the postgraduates from the Schools of Computing; Mathematics and Physics; and those from Energy and Electronic Engineering.

The rest of the ceremonies for other schools will be held throughout the week.

The University of Portsmouth also sent out a congratulatory message to Masalule and all the remaining graduands expected to graduate during the course of the week.

"We're very proud of Masalule - and all our graduands going off into the world this week and next," the university noted.

Masalule is a motocross rider who moved to England to race more competitively and also complete his studies.
