Train Rams Into KBS Bus Full of Passengers [PHOTOS]

A cargo train, on Tuesday, rammed into a bus at Avenue Park Estate junction, in Embakasi.

The incident is reported to have occurred at around 11 am, as the KBS bus was setting off for the Nairobi CBD with passengers on board.

Luckily, no casualties were reported as all the commuters in the vehicle managed to escape.

The bus was badly damaged in the crash with the driver's area most affected.

The incident comes months after a commuter train hit a Citi Hoppa bus at Pipeline area in February.

No casualties were reported in the early morning incident as commuters, who use the train to get to town, were forced to seek other means of transport.

Similarly, in 2018, a train hit an oil tanker near the same Pipeline area, leading to a major traffic snarl-up along Outering Road.

One person was injured in the incident with reports at the time indicating that the tanker was trying to maneuver its way past the railway crossing when the train rammed into it.

Luckily, no lives were lost.

In a separate incident, an accident was witnessed when a Nairobi passenger train hit a saloon car at Mutindwa crossing in Umoja Estate.
