Exactly four days after Kirinyaga Governor, Anne Mumbi Waiganjo, walked down the aisle with her long-time partner, Kamotho Waiganjo, the county boss was on Wednesday spotted sweating it out with her staff during a team building.
Photos seen by Kenyans.co.ke, show the governor, Deputy Governor Peter Ndambiri, CECs and other county staff engaging in various vigorous activities and games.
In one of the photos, Mumbi is seen making some moves in the middle of a circle, probably guiding the rest on what they should do.
On her Twitter page, the governor acknowledged that she needed a united team in her government for her to prosper.
"Alone a leader may go far, however, with a great team, a leader is unstoppable.
Together with DG, CECs, COs and directors, we're developing leadership potential in staff so as to achieve our county vision #KirinyagaRising vision," she posted.
She added that the team building was a good time to reflect, recharge and re-energize the county's vision.
On Saturday, the governor exchanged vows in a colourful wedding ceremony attended by prominent people, including president Uhuru Kenyatta, Opposition leader Raila Odinga and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka.
Following the wedding ceremony, her followers were curious to know when she would be going for her honeymoon.
"When is the honeymoon?" Enock inquired.
"Your honeymoon was short-lived," Swaka weighed in.
