ODM party leader, Raila Odinga moved the crowds at his rural home in Siaya County, on Friday afternoon, when he joined a group of dancing women at his Opoda farm.
The key agenda of the event was discovering modern agriculture methods and boosting food security in the nation. The former Prime Minister could not contain his excitement and jumped into the happy lot.
In the video that has gone viral, Odinga holds the hand of one of the dancers as they hit the floor to the beat together.
He then handed the singing group wads of money to show his appreciation of the wonderful entertainment.
The people in the video are adorned in Kenya Plant health inspectorate Service (KEPHIS) shirts and hats as they mill around Raila trying to impress him with their moves.
Shortly after his first dance, the African Union's Higher Representative for Infrastructure tirelessly moved to join another dancing crew.
The women dance in a move that at first proved hard for Odinga but he caught on quite fast and they all shook their bodies with a synchronisation unmatched
Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri had been scheduled to be the guest of honor at the event but did not show up.
Kiunjuri however sent the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service(Kephis) managing director, Dr. Esther Kimani, to represent him.
Odinga had invited over 500 farmers to their farm, to learn about modern farming techniques and crop varieties that suit the region.
