Why Ruto Has Stopped Fighting Raila - Herman Manyora [VIDEO]

Political analyst Herman Manyora claims that Deputy President William Ruto has befriended ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga in the last few days.

Through his YouTube channel, Manyora explained that the DP has been relating with the AU envoy in a manner that he has never done before.

He stated that Ruto's remarks during the memorial service of the late Bomet Governor, Joyce Laboso, showed that he was on the verge of solving his differences with Odinga.

"For the first time, Ruto said he was supporting the handshake and by extension he was also supporting Raila.

"He even referred to him as my brother. Looking at him and his demeanor and language, I am convinced there is some change," he explained.

According to Manyora, Ruto has finally come to the realization that it is hard to go against power.

"The DP has seen that those in power can harass your friends and make your life difficult. They can remove you from powerful positions. They can even jail you. By now he knows that they can even steal votes.

"Maybe this realization comes from his knowledge that it's not easy for anybody to fight power," Manyora added.

He stated that Ruto had explored all the options that he had before he realized that it was futile to fight the president yet he wants to succeed him in 2022.
