Watch Behind the Scenes of JKL Show at Citizen TV

For any production to be successful, there are many people who are involved, it is considered as team effort. In fact, when just one person messes the production, it may turn out to be a mess.

Some of these people that we never get to see are; the show directors, the producers, assistant producers, camerapersons, graphic designs, editors and sound operators.

Kenyans.co.ke stumbled on a 2017 behind the scenes footage of one of the most watched shows on Wednesday nights, posted by Xtian Dela, a Youtuber.

The footage shows Citizen TV's, Jeff Koinange, being prepped before having an interview with former IEBC commissioner, Roselyn Akombe.

Now, if you are a fan of the show, you know that Jeff is always having a conversation with his director, Monica Kiragu. "Monica can I have that footage now? Monica can we have those pictures now?" he enquires in most of the shows.

In this particular footage, Monica is seen organizing how things will run before the show starts to air.

"Now explain to her(Roselyn Akombe) that she will not see you but you will see her," Monica is heard telling Jeff, who in turn tells Ms Akombe.

The production team seem to be sorting out a sound problem as Ms Akombe tells them that she is not able to hear them.

"We are working on it, give us a few minutes," Jeff is heard saying as Monica heads to the gallery, where a sound operator tries to fix it.

They finally fix the sound problem and Monica briefs Jeff before the show begins. The studio lights are switched on, Monica asks everyone to stand by and Jeff starts his introduction, "Good evening, I am Jeff Koinange and this is Jeff Koinange Live," he introduces the show.
