Dennis Itumbi's Lover Recounts How He Tricked Her With Abortion Concoction

Digital strategist and blogger Dennis Itumbi is seemingly in deep trouble after his lover accused him of attempting to trick her for an abortion.

The woman, on Thursday, September 5, sued the journalist for child support claiming that Itumbi refused to provide any form of maintenance knowing fully well that she is an orphan.

The Star reports that the mother of the child, through lawyer Enricah Dulo, detailed that after discovering she was pregnant, Itumbi unsuccessfully attempted to have the child aborted.

She further disclosed that the event took place sometime when he served her a drink which she did not know contained an abortion-inducing concoction.

“On October 26, 2018, Itumbi invited the applicant for a meeting where he again tried to convince her to abort. He served her a drink and immediately she left the meeting, she started bleeding,” read court documents in part.

When she was rushed to a maternity hospital, however, the medics asked if she had attempted an abortion.

That was when she grew suspicious of the drink Itumbi served her as she had not taken any other meal after her meeting with the blogger.

Our attempts to get Itumbi's side of the story bore no fruit as he curtly answered, "The case is in court, let it remain there. I have no answer."

The court papers also revealed that the woman was helpless, despite her unsuccessful efforts to reach Itumbi.

She, as per the sworn statement, disclosed that Itumbi once sent an emissary instead of meeting her himself.

"She is seeking Ksh 50,000 monthly subsistence allowance for the minor to cater for food, clothing, medicine, and house help salary," Dulo told the court through an affidavit.

The aggrieved woman also wants to include Itumbi's name in the minor's birth certificate and has asked the court to order Itumbi to provide a copy of his national identity card.
