Sarah Wairimu in court. She claimed that Gabrielle, her husband's sister had no authority to bury his body

Wairimu, who produced a marriage certificate in court, claimed legal custody over her husband’s body.

The court had earlier allowed her to be present in the post-mortem that was conducted on the deceased.

The procedure had been scheduled for Monday but was postponed to Tuesday to accommodate Sarah's wish to view the body.

The postmortem was again pushed to Tuesday after the government pathologist Peter Ndegwa recused himself.

An autopsy is necessary for determining what led to the death of the billionaire.

The procedure is also expected to help establish the state the body was in before Cohen's demise.
