All Occupants Wiped Out in Horrific Head-on Collision

Four people died on Sunday, October 27, following a fatal head-on collision along the busy Mombasa road.

Makueni County Police Commander (CPC) Ole Napeiyan confirmed the early morning incident, going on to reveal that the grisly incident occurred during an overtaking manoeuvre by one of the drivers.

The police boss narrated how the ill-calculated led to the two vehicles ramming into each other, leaving the driver and passenger of the overtaking car dead on the spot, Citizen TV reported.

“This accident occurred because of human error; it was not as a result of any mechanical error or weather or road conditions. It was a human being’s fault,” the Makueni CPC disclosed.

Occupants of the second vehicle were left nursing serious injuries and were quickly rushed to a nearby hospital by emergency responders.

However, they both succumbed to their wounds before they got to the clinic.

Napeiyan went on to disclose that the bodies of the victims had been ferried to Kilome Nursing Home mortuary.

In a similar incident, commuters along Jogoo Road woke up to a freak accident along Jogoo Road in Nairobi after two cars rammed into each other.

The freakish occurred at the Hamza Junction on Sunday, October 27, with the impact of the accident causing one to flip over.
