KTN's Tony Gachoka Picks New Fight With Ruto [VIDEO]

KTN show host Tony Gachoka on Sunday, October 27, slammed Deputy President William Ruto over his huge cash donations.

Taking to Twitter, Gachoka noted that Ruto became a prominent political figure because he was known for dishing out large sums of money to politicians and churches.

He went on to add that Ruto was using the same method in the Kibra by-election campaigns as well as to defeat the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) which was a brainchild of President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

"Hustler and billionaire DP Ruto’s claim to politics is dishing out millions in harambees and buying MPs mainly from Central, Western and Coast.

"Kibra is another depository of looted cash and to try defeat BBI directly or through MPs is Ksh2 billion," Gachoka wrote.

However, on Saturday, October 26, the DP vowed to take a step back on his stance on church contributions.

Speaking at a funds drive at Gekano Catholic Parish Grounds, Kitutu Masaba Constituency, Nyamira County, Ruto stated that he would give his contributions in strict line with the recent recommendations by the Catholic Church.

"The same way we were given an order, we have given our contribution to the father, and we have given the amount that has been prescribed," he stated.

Ruto also made clear that from the time onwards, he was going to maintain the threshold that had been given to him by the church.
