Raila Junior Wades Into Alfred Mutua's Damning Accusations

Raila Odinga Junior, son to ODM leader Raila Odinga on Monday, December 16, weighed in on Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua's claims of threats on his life.

Junior, in a sarcastic post on his social media pages, exhorted Kenyans for condemning Alfred Mutua's claims yet they had bought into claims by musician King Kaka and Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria on assassination threats.

"If you believe that both Moses Kuria and musician King Kaka were threatened with assassination for their rubbish [sic], then surely there is credence to Alfred Mutua's claim of threats from Tanga Tanga hit squad," he wrote.

Mutua had on Monday, December 16, filed a complaint at Kilimani Police Station decrying threats allegedly directed towards him by the National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale and his Senate counterpart Kipchumba Murkomen over his apparent attacks on Deputy President William Ruto.

Moses Kuria had on January 10, 2019, alleged that there were individuals after his life after he castigated President Uhuru Kenyatta for abandoning the Mt. Kenya region in terms of development, a matter he stated he had reported to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

Musician King Kaka had also featured on Junior's bad books after his allegations on Sunday, December 15, that his life was in danger after his viral song aptly titled Wajinga Nyinyi, which castigated government leaders for their shortfalls, raised intense political debate.

Raila Junior's exhortation, however, did not go down well with many Kenyans who felt that his sentiments were disrespectful especially after he compared King Kaka's plight to that of the politicians.

"You are a normal Kenyan like all of us, isn't it? I dare you to come to Kariokor and say that King Kaka spoke crap. We cannot hear you well from there," one user by the monier Element 295 dared.

"I am a staunch supporter of the ODM party but brother Raila Junior, you are a big disappointment," Pascal 254 weighed in.

"Which rubbish [sic] are you talking about when you put Rabbit the King and Moses Kuria in the same tweet?" Peter Muriuki wondered.

"That is very disconcerting of you, Raila Junior. To you, King Kaka never made any sense?" Tipated Timothy posed.
