Meet Team Behind Betty Kyallo's Show on K24 TV [PHOTOS]

Since Betty Kyallo joined K24 TV in 2018, she's hosted the weekend edition and more specifically the interview section, Upclose, where she interacted with personalities and given the viewers a glimpse of their lives.

As the show aired every weekend, Betty got to interview politicians, musicians and media personalities with the most prominent being, West Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo and Artists, Khaligraph Jones, Fena Gitu, Sauti Sol, Samidoh and Stivo Simple Boy.

Behind the show is a team of professionals which makes the production possible.

Tasked with production is Sarah Mwangi who describes the process of making the show as an interesting experience.

"Working with Betty is fun, she is bubbly, energetic and people ask me what I feed her before we go live and it's just that she is that energetic," Sarah commented.

The Head of TV and Digital at Media Max Peter Opondo described the show as one that evolved from being all about celebrities to actually telling stories that were more human interest.

"In the beginning, the show was to focus on opening up celebrities lives but over time as we did stories of less-known individuals, people responded more to their stories," he stated.

Cameramen who take on the task of making sure they capture the required shots are, Gabriel Kemei, John Wangugi and Austin Ageyo.

"Sarah, the producer is always on my neck whether the camera batteries are charged and if the shots are good. All that to make sure we produce the best show for our viewers." Wangugi explained.

Once the footage has been shot, it falls on the hands of the video editor, Shem Savartia who cuts the clips and pieces them together for a good show.
