Jubilee's Nominated MP Maina Kamanda has come out with damning allegations against Deputy President William Ruto over the siphoning of public funds.
Kamanda who was addressing the press in Nyandarua noted that during the reign of President Mwai Kibaki there was only one government and thus few thieves compared to the 47 county governments in the current political setting.
The former Starehe MP alleged that the governors from all the counties were nothing but thieves who are siphoning public funds.
"The Kibaki era had one government and maybe one thief but currently we have 47 thieves and this are the governors in the counties where all the money is currently channelled.
"And they should stop whining over three governors we want to see over 20 of them kicked out because we know they are stealing and they have stolen a lot of money," Kamanda stated.
Kamanda claimed that the Kenyans lamenting that there was no money in the economy should be aware that the money was in the pockets of a few.
He went on to allege that Murkomen was sent by his boss to represent the governors and other officials who had been accused of corruption as they had already shared the loot.
"We are not stupid we know when Murkomen represents the people accused of corruption he usually has been sent by his boss because they steal together with the accused persons," the legislator further stated.
In addition, Kamanda requested Murkomen to step down as the leader of the majority in the senate as he was an embarrassment to the jubilee party.
He concluded by urging the residents of the area to support the BBI claiming it was out to strengthen the institutions that were mandated with the fight against corruption.
