KTN has released a promo for an exciting new show which is scheduled to premiere on June 5, 2020.
A highly placed source at the media house told Kenyans.co.ke that the show named “In Other News” as seen on the promo, was changed after a search showed that the name was not unique.
Another member of staff who was questioned on the similarity of the KTN show to TV47’s "In Other News" played coy stating, “The name has been changed, that’s all for now.”
The new name was changed to Habari Za News, which is Swahili for news about the news.
The first episode will air on Friday, June 5 at 10 pm according to a new promo video that was shared by the station.
The program will provide comic relief after the prime time news bulletin which is often heavily influenced by current affairs.
