Abdalla narrated that he had been hiding in the forest since he found out police were looking for him but later decided to turn himself in because life as a wanted man was not good for him.
"I have not seen my family. My wife who had surgery before I went into hiding is also suffering, this life on the run has no appeal. So I have presented myself to let justice prevail and my innocence to be proven," he explained.

Akanda urged the other suspects to present themselves to the police as well, assuring that due processes would be followed to ensure that they are presented in court.
