JK Live show host Jeff Koinange was dumbfounded on Wednesday evening, January 13, while conducting an interview between Suba North MP Millicent Odhiambo and Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika, who were constantly at each other's throats.
Odhiambo, who is a supporter of ODM leader Raila Odinga and Kihika, an ally of Deputy President William Ruto, kept the host on his toes while discussing political issues.
Kihika indicated that the tangatanga team was very clear that they wanted the DP to lead the Country in 2022.
Further, she accused the Kieleweke team of not fronting a candidate saying that they changed tune whenever they toured different parts of the country.
“On our side, it’s William Ruto. On their side we don’t know because they go to Vihiga, they are singing Mudavadi, they go to Kabarak, they are singing Gideon, they go to Kalonzo Musyoka's place, they are saying it is Kalonzo, every other day it’s somebody else based on where the funeral is," Kihika stated.
"Relax baby girl," Odhiambo retorted, adding that ODM party had entrusted Raila to lead because of the good that he had done for the country.
The duo had a heated argument about who between the two loved their leader more, as Koinange looked on in amazement.
“We don’t hate William Ruto, we may not like what he espouses as a person but should William Ruto and Raila Odinga decide that they are having a handshake and are coming on an agenda that is sensible to us we will work with them," Odhiambo stated.
The two politicians discussed a short clip that went viral on Wednesday, where the ODM party leader was shouted down by a section of youth in Burma market.
While Kihika hinted that the ODM leader was booed by the youth, Odhiambo said that she had a clip showing Raila being cheered.
"They can talk about all that they are talking, their handshakes or this or that but the people of Kenya will ultimately decide and the reason we hold our heads high is because we see it, like the booing in Burma," Kihika said before she was quickly interrupted by Odhiambo.
"There is no big issue about booing. They can boo in Burma and someone can go elsewhere and he will be booed. He was not booed, that was your corner, he was cheered," she stated.
