Jubilee Party Vice-Chairman David Murathe on Thursday, February 26, revealed a plot that will soon lead to the eviction of Deputy President William Ruto from his Karen residence.

Speaking during an interview on KTN, Murathe explained that an exit clause would kick into place following a breach of a coalition agreement between the Jubilee Party and the Party of Development and Reforms (PDR) which was United Democratic Alliance (UDA) commonly referred to as the 'Wheelbarrow party'.

"With the exit clause, the eviction party of the DP from the hustler mansion in Karen is loading. That you can take to the bank," he stated.

When prodded on whether they would seek to eject the DP via impeachment, Murathe stated that the Jubilee party was determined to put its house in order, adding that it was also an option.

"Whether it will be an impeachment or any other way, you can be sure he is getting evicted soon," the Jubilee boss without offering more details.

He further accused the Ruto faction of not playing as a team adding that the political affiliations had already started forming with the President Uhuru Kenyatta meeting with various party leaders at State House including Raila Odinga (ODM), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Gideon Moi (KANU).

Murathe further warned Jubilee Deputy Secretary-General Caleb Kositany of his removal from the post.

"I am putting Caleb on notice and come Monday we are going to kick him out of Jubilee," he added.

Murathe had earlier stated that the Jubilee Party would support a proposal to impeach Deputy President William Ruto on account of violation of the provisions of chapter six of the Constitution.

During an interview on January 27, the party vice-chair stated that they would rally members to support the motion once it is tabled in the House.

"We shall support anybody who brings a motion to impeach the Deputy President on account of violation of chapter six on ethics and integrity," he stated.

However, in a separate address, Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju denied reports that the party had plans to impeach the Deputy President.

"So far those are just speculations. There is no such Motion. It has not been discussed within the party. If there was such a discussion it would have been communicated to all members," Tuju

This came after Lugari MP Ayub Savula revealed that he was planning to table an impeachment Motion against the DP in Parliament.
