6 Features That Prove Ruto's Mansion is Unrivalled [PHOTOS]

The battle for the greatest shelter still rages on and as it stands now, Deputy President William Ruto is far ahead of the curve with the best roof over his head.

Even though it is an official mansion provided to him by the government, the DP is arguably the only politician who enjoys uber posh residential facilities outside the State House.

From the top-of-the-range swimming pool to an expansive office block and garage, it's baffling to realise that Ruto does not spend some nights inside his Karen home.

Recently, he made headlines after he unveiled a church inside the residence at an event that was attended by Reverend Teresa Wairimu, Bishop Mark Kariuki, KFCB CEO, Ezekiel Mutua, Citizen TV's Victoria Rubadiri and Joe Ageyo.

"Today (July 31, 2019), my husband, the deputy president and I were blessed to have been joined by fathers of faith and key leaders in various mountains of influence, during the opening ceremony of our National Prayer Altar at the official residence of the deputy president.

"David built there an altar to the Lord and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. Thus the Lord was moved by prayer for the land, and the plague was held back from Israel (2 Samuel 24:25)," shared Ruto's wife, Rachel, at the time.

In terms of basic needs, it seems the DP will never miss his personal attendants at any time of day or night as long as he occupies the mansion.

There is a staff residence and a comptrollers unit that is ready to serve his every need, including those he does not ask for.

The house itself is a behemoth 2-storey building, painted in cream and contains a spacious office block in which Ruto holds meetings. President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga are some of the dignitaries who have graced the splendid Karen home.
