Comedian and Milele FM presenter Kazungu Matano also known as Captain Otoyo is grieving the loss of his brother Bashir Matano.
The renowned comedian shared the news of the brother's demise on social media, March 2, 2021.
"Just lost my bro Bashir a few hours ago. The burial will be, tomorrow Wednesday, March 3rd at 1 pm at Mogotio Muslim Cemetery immediately after Salatul Dhuhr," he wrote.
Kazungu and his six siblings are from the Digo tribe and were born in Mombasa before relocating to Nakuru. His siblings are not featured much in the limelight hence little is known about them. In a past interview, he shared how their mother sold illicit brew to provide for the family.

He later took part in a local show - Papa Shirandula - which aired on Citizen TV. He has also been featured numerous times on Churchill's show as a comedian, using a Luo accent as his signature identity.
He later transitioned to the radio when he joined Radio Maisha. He quit in 2018 and made a comeback two years later joining Milele FM.
