The Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) will be conducting another test run at Greenpark terminus from 4 - 6 pm on Friday, May 28. This was confirmed via a notice issued by NMS.
The previous test run had caused confusion and traffic snarl-up in the general Haile Sellasie area.
A man who had left his home in Sebetet village, Kericho in 1964 to look for a job has returned after 57 years. Simon Mibei Chumo was reunited with his family after being identified by the neighbourhood pastor.
Chumo had been working as a casual labourer near the church.
Kisumu County received electric motorcycles from United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).
According to Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o, the bikes will be used by county officials to deliver services to the locals.
The county government also announced plans of building an assembly plant in order to assemble the bikes.
The four IEBC Commissioner slots come with hefty perks and benefits. Reports indicate that the commissioners will be earning a salary of Ksh621,000, allowances, an official chauffeured car, airtime, security and their families will get a medical cover.
