    Don’t Call My Name in Vain

    Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho's comments regarding Mathira MP Rigathi Gachaugua has attracted backlash from politicians alike.

    Initially, Kibicho had warned Gachagua against spreading false claims of persecution on national media.

    The PS accused the latter of dragging his name and the Ministry of Interior in alleged claims of political persecution. Gachagua was asked to grow up and carry his cross.

    However, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua criticised Kibicho, emphasizing that he should keep off engaging the media. Mutua suggested that he should instead let the government spokesman, Cyrus Oguna, relay the government's message to Kenyans.

    Members of Parliament allied to Deputy President William Ruto, including newly sworn-in John Njuguna, arrived at his residence in Karen in the morning hours of Thursday, August 5.

    Eight students from Kenyatta University (KU) are in the final steps of launching a satellite into outer space.

    The 1kg satellite, KU Cube, is expected to lift into space this August for the purpose of agricultural and disaster management.

    George Masinde, the Form One student who walked 50 kilometres to join Joseph Boys High School, has received a full academic sponsorship from Mombasa Cement Limited.

    The boy, in his determination, wowed the masses when he trekked 50 kilometres to his dream school in Kitale.

    Uganda's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Henry Okello Oryem refuted allegations that Uganda was subliminally interfering with Kenya’s internal affairs.

    The National Assembly has launched investigations into what is a possible manipulation of Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results.

    This is as a result of two parents lodging complaints to the House. The duo submitted analyses of the children’s academic performances which strongly deviated from the final results.
