Govt Announces Plum Job Opportunities for Youth: How to Apply

The government in collaboration with the Ministry of ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs has announced job opportunities for youths across the country.

The new positions are being offered under the National Youth Council, which is being reconstituted according to the vacancy poster released on Tuesday, November 2.

The successful candidates are expected to fill the positions of The National Youth Council Election Committees that will have a say in the running of government affairs, distribution of resources to fellow youths, and lobbying for opportunities to be allocated to the youths.

The positions have not been restricted to any profession or level of experience but have been set free for all youths to apply.

Young persons living with disabilities and young women have also been encouraged to submit their applications for the positions that will consider candidates from different counties across the country.

"Establishment and Composition of Election Committees Regulation 4.(1)(h) and 6.(3)(d). Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs wishes to identify suitable candidates for appointment to the respective committees," the job advertisement reads.

The only job requirement for the positions is one must be a Kenyan youth who reside in a respective constituency.

"Interested Candidates must be Kenyan Youth and must reside within the respective Constituency of application for purposes of regulation."

How to Apply

The process of application is quite easy. Interested candidates are only required to log into their online portal.

After logging in, one is expected to fill the online form with their personal details and also their respective constituency.

After that, interested candidates are only required to submit their resumes and cover letter to their email: info@nationalyouthcouncil.go.ke.

Interested candidates are expected to submit their applications by close of business on November 8.
