Located at the heart of Swindon, United Kingdom is Masai Choma House, restaurant famed for the Kenyan cuisines it serves and the African culture it embraces.
According to the locals and tourists that have visited the joint, it is a favourite for many due to its exquisite service in giving the customers a taste of Africa and the zeal of African food.
A review of the menu reveals a mix of Kenyan cuisines ranging from ugali to nyama choma, kienyeji all at different prices. A plate of ugali and nyama choma will cost a customer around Ksh1,955 while fries costs Ksh225.
The main dishes include nyama choma (charcoal roasted meat), tilapia fish, stewed beef (dry fry), beef burger with chips, cheese burger with chips, chicken wings (7 pieces and 15 pieces).
The side entrees include fries, ugali, kienyeji, plantains, salad with avocados (kachumbari), salad, sukuma (greens), rice. The second menu consists of cocktail drinks ranging from Ksh900 and above.
The restaurant was founded by three people in 2018 who had a common dream- to share the Kenyan cuisine to the rest of the world. Kenneth Kibe Williams, Andre Mwazo and William Wainaina.
Wainaina and Mwazo however later resigned in 2019 consecutively which left the restaurant to be operated by Kibe.
In order to bring the authentic Kenyan partylife, the restaurant also hosts events such as Mugithi Nights, Masaai culture, summer vibes and weekend bash among others.

Appetite for Kenyan food has ignited the desire to establish restaurants specializing in African delicacies. Safari DC restaurant and lounge located in Washington DC is also loved for its Kenyan dishes.
A number of prominent persons from Kenya have dined at Masai Choma House when they visited the United States, including, former President Mwai Kibaki, ODM leader Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, and the late Keneth Matiba, and Mama Sarah Odinga.
