The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has offered four to five lucrative positions to former Kiambu Governor, William Kabogo, should he join their political faction ahead of the 2022 polls.

Speaking on JKLive on Wednesday, December 8, Suna East Member of Parliament, Junet Mohamed, pointed out that the former governor would be a great addition to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and the ODM side.

"I agree. Kabogo has many options; he can be a running mate or governor of Kiambu, governor of Nairobi or governor of Migori. It will be his choice to make. There are four options so we leave it to him, he will discuss with his wife and tell us," Junet stated.

The outspoken Legislator disputed a possible coalition between Kabogo and Deputy President William Ruto, noting that they would not agree on particular issues.

Both Junet and Kabogo shared the same sentiments that the electoral process was flawed due to the management system of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

"IEBC has been the biggest problem in this country. I hope that they will conduct free, fair and credible elections," Junet stated.

"I have a big problem with Wafula Chebukati. I don’t understand him," Kabogo reiterated.

Kabogo went on to point out that any party that formed a coalition would clinch the presidency with a convincing victory.

"It is true that the horses are two, one will be President and the other leader of opposition. Do not give them elective seats like MP so that multiparty can thrive," he stated.

Junet also noted that Kabogo was invited to the former Premier's big day at Kasarani on Friday, December 10, noting that he would fit into the party's narrative.

"Azimio la Umoja is about bringing people together. Everybody irrespective of your party can participate in the conversation so as to find solutions for our country," he stated.
