Inside Mike Sonko's Luxurious Beach Resort

Former Nairobi Governor, Mike Mbuvi Sonko shared photos of one of his multi-million investments at the Coast. 

The resort known as Salama Bling Beach Resort, Kikambala is revered by tourists and locals visiting Kilifi County. 

The resort is adjacent to Shree Cutch Satsang Swaminarayan Temple and Fort Jesus, making it an ideal location for entertainment and tourism.

The iconic waterfront hotel has an outdoor pool near a restaurant serving different cuisines.

Inside is a state-of-the-art gym that offers 24-hour fitness services, a barbershop, and several conference facilities. Its grounds can also be used to host weddings, graduation ceremonies, birthday parties and other events.

Accommodation services range from Ksh10,000 a night to Ksh25,000. The pricing is determined by room sizes and extra services offered.

Families visiting the premises also get to enjoy activities such as beach games, blanket bounce and driftwood. 

Other than Salama Bling Beach Resort, Sonko also has a multi-million nightclub dubbed The VIP Volume Club which has gold-coated lion statues and toilets.

VIP Volume Club has a 15,000 capacity and is fitted with soundproof boardrooms ideal for business transactions.

"Those who thought politics was my everything were misguided. Any job is worth it, you can attest by how far I have come," Sonko stated describing his success story. 

Sonko also owns the Casuarina Bar and Restaurant in Buruburu estate Nairobi, Kimerameta Safari Lodge at the peak of Golini Hill and also has interests in the public transport sector.
