KeNHA Announces Mass Auction of Vehicles, How to Apply

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a motor vehicle auction exercise to be carried out across the country.

In a notice released on Tuesday, March 1, the authority announced that it was auctioning the motor vehicles alongside other items deemed as surplus and unserviceable.

The exercise will kick off on Tuesday, March 15, and end on Friday, March 18, beginning at KeNHA Headquarters at Corridor A office off Athi River/Namanga Interchange at 11:00am.

On the same day, March 15, another auction exercise will be held at the Machakos Road park in industrial area catering for Nairobi and Central regions.

On March 16, KeNHA will hold the auction at Moti Building in Machakos to cater for the Lower Eastern Region while another concurrent event will be at Moti Building in Nakuru for the South Rift chapter.

On March 17, the auction will be staged at Public Works Building in Eldoret for the North Rift region as well as MoPW Building in Kisumu for Nyanza region.

On the last day, there will be three regions including Ministry of Roads Building in Kakamega (Western), Ministry of Public Works, Garissa town (North Eastern Region) and building along Mahindi Road in Mombasa for Coast.

How to Apply

Those interested in the property are asked to start viewing the property from Wednesday, March 2.

The bidders are also expected to deposit a refundable sum of Ksh50,000 for motor vehicles to KeNHA in cash and the winners should pay 25 per cent of the price by fall of the harmer on bidding day.

For the other items, bidders are asked to deposit Ksh50,000 and winners should pay the balance in 14 days.

Those who want to view the vehicles and other items digitally can also do so by downloading the catalogues from KeNHA website and keep up with addedums.
